But I heard that the majority of the mass in galaxies is from dark matter. Does this mean that the dark matter followed this simulation and the regular matter followed along? Also how would you be able to predict the distribution of dark matter in galaxies?

Amplification where matter(s) are pulled in represents attraction; and the push represents repulsion. That is, thinking about what is wanted or unwanted manifests; and NOT contemplating a subject will "empty out" or repel.
