Mayhem II is a mixed martial arts fighting champions ship in Malaysia, sponsored by Muayfit in Selangor. On September 11, 2011, The Cambodian Bokator MMA team, consisting of Tun Serey, Kong Ravi, Say Tevin and Antonio Graceffo (The Brooklyn Monk) fought in the event. Antonio won his first fight, but lost his second. Tun Serey was the hero of the day, winning two bouts and earning a second place trophy for Cambodia.

The event was highly significant because it was the first time the Cambodian Bokator team ever fought outside of Cambodia and the first time they ever participated in MMA. In Cambodia, they practice traditional Bokator which includes kick boxing and grappling, but the style had to be adjusted for MMA competition.

Antonio owes his victory to both, the years of Bokator training as well as a month of intensive modern MMA training, sponsored by K-1 Fight Factory Phnom Penh and Team Minetti.

Even participating was a great victory for the Khmer team as they were able to bring their art to the world. The whole team, including Antonio, plans to continue training and fighting MMA.

Antonio Graceffo is self-funded and needs donation to continue his writing and video work. To support the project you can donate through the paypal link on his website, www.speakingadventure.com

  • I can't believe some haters on my other videos said the Cambodians got their asses kicked. did you see this fight? Ravy is an animal. Raymond is my friend and training partner. so i know him well. he is on the national san da team and trains MMA full time, and yet, Ravy is in there for the whole fight, kicking, punching, throwing!!!! Yes, Ravy lost, but to say that he got his ass kicked is preposterous. Once we bring the Khmers back to Malaysia for a few months of training they will be scary.

  • mad respect to bokator fighters, i agree they need to sharpen up their ground skills cause every ones gonna take em down.

  • MEtalllicaaa!!

  • I bet Bokator would kill in a real life situation, but in MMA, it's so necessary to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

  • Khmer need to work more on the ground games, but we are doing pretty well for the first time. I am very proud of them. Thank you Antonio for your helping in making Khmer's history.

  • WOW! he got out of that crazy armbar! THATS sick!
