@InvisibleWoe Yes, you're right. If kids could only know what taking the first bit of drugs/cigs could lead. No one that tries a bit ever thinks they will get hooked. My mother and sister both died from them. It isn't supposed to lead to that some think but it does and that's only in one family. I wish I could talk to those kids who think they can handle it all. Tell them of the pain we went though if that would help. But we all know that we, as humans, think we will be the exception.

@InvisibleWoe Yes, you're right Invisible. If kids, being offered drugs, could understand the out come maybe they'd never mess with the stuff in the first place. And people who smoke. I'm sure they think that one smoke is no big deal and no big deal. No person that has smoked for years ever thought they'd get hooked. My mother died 20 years before her time because of smoking and we that are left wish she was here. And my sister died at 40 from smoking/drugs. All of it pathetic and stupid.

@Songsmirth The kid died from being hit in the head, but he WOULDN'T have died if he hadn't taken the drugs.  The drugs caused him to bleed out faster. So technically, whoever busted his head open ended up killing him.

Its insane how all the roles have changed; Carlisle started of as a good guy and Ripley was the bad guy, now I'm not sure who's right and who's wrong. I guess thats what makes it so good!!

The young officer is right. This is so messed up it's hard to follow. The kid can do anything and his father backs him. Now, he's teaching him how to lie to anybody he needs to in order to get himself out of trouble. And when is he ever in school? Or the girl? Some parents. / Isn't it proven that the blond died from drugs so other than revenge why is the detective going after Riley to the extent that he's asking an honest man to lie? Because he feels it was Riley?
