Make Us Your Virtual Brides! (Harvest Moon × Touhou / IOSYS parody)

=D This is a parody of the flash animation "Make Us Your Brides!" ("Oyome ni Shinasai!") by the doujin group IOSYS.

The original featured characters from the popular Japanese shooter game series Touhou Project - very cute characters, but also very dangerous... would you really want to marry them!? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viPZZYYTSIY

My version (a slightly shorter version, with about one minute taken out) features characters from the farming life simulation game series Harvest Moon... a game where the girls actually DO invite you to make them your brides!

I have YouTube user SparklingCacti to thank for the idea, suggested in a comment on the original video.

Now, I dare you to tell me that your favorite marriageable female character from any currently-released mainstream Harvest Moon game in existence is not represented in this video. I dare you!! I worked really hard to squeeze just about EVERYBODY in.

x3 Haha, yay, I like people who recognize fonts!! That font is called "Funhouse." Build-a-Bear Workshop does use it in its logo, but the reason I used it here is because it's also used in the Harvest Moon logo, as seen in the very beginning of the video. =P

Yes, I recommend it! =D Whether or not you've played previous HM titles. It's top-notch in all familiar HM aspects (marriage, farming...) AND offers lots of new features (camera, different fun plot...). Some fans argue that AP's prequel, Tree of Tranquility, is superior, especially in terms of character personalities - but, while those arguments are valid, I think AP is overall just as good, thanks to the great variety of random cutscenes for a little extra character development.
