Hello, I'm Senator John Cornyn, Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

There's no doubt that recent elections have shown the incredible impact that new media and social networking can have on the outcome of an election. I pledge to run an interactive, issues-driven committee both on and offline in which we can engage with one another; fostering discussion and encouraging ideas.

In the past month we've added more than 500 Facebook supporters, bolstered our e-campaign staff and launched a new Web site at http://www.REIDistributeWealth.com. Twenty-thousand supporters have already visited the site, and I encourage you to check it out.

Continuing the work of my predecessor, Senator John Ensign, the NRSC plans to run an active Twitter page, and I encourage you to follow us over there if you are not already. http://www.twitter.com/NRSC To receive our Twitter updates directly to your phone simply text "Follow NRSC" to 40404. From there you will receive updated information on what the NRSC is doing straight to your phone.

Whether through blogs or social networks, I need your help to win as many Republican Senate seats as we can in 2010.

Please check back often to our website at http://www.NRSC.org as we will be making some significant changes in the weeks and months ahead. I look forward to communicating with you online this cycle.

Thank you and God Bless.

  • The Tea Party movement is where the action is, they won't support Republicans just for the sake of supporting the Republican Party. They want fiscal conservative policies and limited government. The Tea Party isn't going away!

  • So only Democrats (like Clinton) can have affairs?

  • do you plan to follow in john's footsteps and have an affair with your friend's wife and campaign staffer?

    while standing up for marriage?

    GOP=pathetic losers

  • I stopped supporting the Republican Party after George Bush's lawyers filed a brief supporting the wrong side of Heller (the Supreme Court case involving the 2nd Amendment, and the rights of the citizens to arm themselves.

Remember, the 2nd Amendment HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HUNTING.

I suppose I can't trust the Republicans, either.

  • Finally, saying the right things to get elected & Governing by Republican Principles have turned out to be two different things. Where's the Beef? A concerned & Frustrated Republican who wants his vote to be respected.

"Say what you mean & mean what you say"

  • You don't need more Republicans in Congress. You need more Ronald Regans (cut taxes to fix the economy), & Newt Gingrich's (A New Contract with America). You need to stand up, speak out, & vote against the Pork Barrel Democratic Spending & "Government Stimulus" that does not stimulate and that is not "intended" to fix the financial crisis but to advance the Democratic Agenda of big Government.

  • It is said we have the highest Business (Coorporate) Tax in the world. Who let that happen? You can't be the good old boys in Congress (let's all get along) to get our votes again. 40% of the latest Earmarks came from Republican Legislators??

If Republicans ( and a few honest middle of the road Democrats) got together you could "Run This Congress".

  • In response to your request for donations . It's too bad the Republicans got themselves into this situation isn't it?

Why don't they blame themselves for the mess? Small Government , Responsible Gov't Spending, No Earmarks, Low Taxes all sound great during the Campaign

but where were the results for the last 9 years? Where are the results even now? It is said we have the highest Business (Coorporate) Tax in the world. Who let that happen?

  • left/right = both crooks

we need a third party ..who actually cares about we the people

    crooks ...

  • Glad to see the NRSC evolving. Even more important than these additions, is the Republican Senate holding the line on passage of the (non) stimulus crapage currently in debate. I pray the usual 10 to 12 RINO's finally find their principles and refuse to pass this pork filled act.
