Engine 30 with 4 and Chief 302 (R.Robinson) on board responding to 31-1 box (Edgemont) for a working fire. Engine arrived shorty after Engine 31 (Edgemont) and Truck 32 (Progress). Lt.30 (A.Nickle) grabs knob of first line in building and begins making knock on bulk of fire in kitchen as more units arrived. Chief 302 (R.Robinson) and a firefighter from 32 took a line to side A and began to attack fire to make entry of the building.

  • Does anyone else see the FF coming out of the house smoking at the 5:00 mark? Inquiring minds want to know, was the FF by himself? Looks like the FF was.

  • the person you see wasnt alone, there was one other person from the truck with him inside doing a search. prior to the front living room taking off. our Lt. at that 5min mark was then the only person in the building working the way into the kitchen with the hand line

  • Is this Delaware or P.A. ??

  • P.A

  • Good video!

You must complement your driver for stopping as the truck was obviously going way to fast and the truck driver was as out of control as was the officer you see driving on the grass just so he can park closer.

Both need a suspension for recklessly endangering others!

On the other hand your Engine did a great job.

  • that officer you seen pulling up on the side was the fire marshal

  • He did nothing to no one, if you don't like how we drive and do things in P.A. please stay out, you should be lucky he did not hit anyone, are officer in Chester and Delaware Counties are worse then that, all from the Philadelphia Fire Department and we all know how we drive in philly, so like I said shut up if you don't like it.

  • No what you saw was the fire Melting the 10.000 Volt line, no water needed for that.

  • dam that ladder from progress is fucking nice

  • I'm presuming that the explosions we see is the water coming in contact with an electrical wire.
