  • Yes, B.O.C. took the title and hook line from this song, which the Imperial Dogs had written -- and, obviously, were performing live -- back in '74. They also gave I-Dogs frontman Don Waller credit for his contributions -- and he's been getting his rightful share of the royalties for years.

As far as the Reichkreigsflagge goes, the I-Dogs were just trying to shock early-'70s audiences out of their hippy-dippy complacency. Obviously, it worked -- maybe a little too well, especially today.

  • Yeah. Jumping around and doing the shouty bits.

  • Absolutely the original members: Tim Hilger (bass, vocals), Don Waller (vocals); Bill Willett (drums), Paul Therrio (guitar, vocals).

  • Regardless what anyone THINKS it looks like, this performance did, in fact, take place on October 30, 1974.

There are enough people who were actually there to confirm this.

  • It's probably just my head buzzing, but at 7:12, it sounds like someone from the audience is shouting out, "Blue Oyster Cult!".

  • Good shit.

  • Stoked to find this. I got this single at a record swap in Asheville. Dude had like 5 of'em 5 bucks a piece. Shoulda bought all of'em. This is the shit!

  • Dull...I see what they're trying to do but it's boring musically. Six form band mentality. I don't see how anyone could call this 'punk' in any way. It's like an ALice Cooper b-side. Next....

  • @chelsi7405 it isn't just your head -I heard it too.

  • Ahh, it's just early punk,,, thats all. Like Dead Boys style... Good goddamn stuff if you ask me...

Shock value = fuck it, whatever...

  • When the NAZIs came in Greece and later when the team was back they changed their logo and since then they're using the face of God APOLLON..

it's a NAZI's "victory" since the whole world recognises the NAZIs when they see that symbol and they ignore the founders...

  • i'd like to post something regarding the swastika..this logo ORIGINALLY was an ANCIENT GREEK logo (the NAZIs stole this symbol)..its name was "TETRAYKIS"..it was showing the 4 elements of the earth..it can be found even today if you visit some museums in Greece..f.i. there is one on a vase made 700BC in the city ELEUSIS (near Athens) -maybe the most holy place of the ancient world-..it was also the symbol of the Greek Football/Soccer team APOLLON from SMYRNE (when Turkey's coast was Greek)

  • Hmm...Kind of reminds me the way Green Day took Hanoi Rocks' title "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams".
