  • OH Thats alot of money. But id love to know if it can print gears. And i need to know more about the suport material , and how you design that into the job or if the CAD software does it for you.

    THANKS dude YOU ROCK!!

  • It can make gears. Since the layers are .01" it has it's limits though.

The bigger the gear/teeth the better.

See my Catalyst EX 3D print software video.

The software that comes with the machine determines the supports.

  • Great work! this is amazing!!!what type of 3d printer do you have ?and were can i get one/how much?

    Thank you for posting this

    PLEASE KEEP THE VIDS COMING

  • Its a Dimension BST. dimensionprinting (dot) com

They sell for about $20,000+ new with all the stuff you need.

What kind of vids would you like to see? I need more ideas!

  • Great idea!

  • This solid vs sparse feature is built right into my 3d printer software. I wish the software had more features than this though. For example I wish I could adjust the wall thickness around the perimeter of the parts.

I've got a whole channel dedicated to this stuff over at youtube dot com/printto3d
