@chefafischer ......WOW, why would you slam the guy for being a Christian? I don't believe in Gods either but I would much rather be around a Christian than a drug addict, would'nt you. Better his religious beliefs makes him happy than drugs/alcohol(which is a drug). Actually I'm really jealous of him........wish I could be that happy without it being chemically induced. Give the guy credit....he chose to turn his life around and be a good person......whatever his beliefs are!

I thank God for Rock Bands like Petra. As a teen it was all the gospel I would pay attention to. Now as a grown up I am fully born again. I know Jesus is real. And I could go on and on about God. Thank you John for your faith , it saved my life.

John, I hope you read this?I am an advent rocker but never gave up my faith in Christ but also know that my misfortunes have taken me to a place I don't care for in life itself as to me now?I still believe that rock is alright and agents,record producers and promoters are like a mis guided tool against your own dreams?They go by the numbers not by talent and creativity.Still at my age I still have hope in the American way of trying but will not wain from my belief in Christ.

Praise the Lord for this man's life! He has impacted many people including mine! If it was not for Petra's music, I would have easily grativated towards drugs....perhaps towards the darkside of so-called, "Rock n Roll." Thank you John Schlitt!

John God bless you Man... since 20 years I heard music from petra and all the time I feel the power of God and even keep make me feel  so so good . I been sad when petra gone but some day would happen.... sorry for my English... Im from mexico... SALUDOS!!!!
