I think you mean "lightning" when you say "lightening." This gentleman was struck by lightning and, as you can see, it did not kill him or knock him out. He was, however, injured by the strike. Lightning victims sometimes sustain little injury and some are killed. There is a wide range of impacts depending on how much charge is received and other environmental factors.
