Artist Larry Ioannou does the Andy Serkis thing for the short film Casting Call of Cthulhu. People who have seen the rough cut love Larry's take on the character so we decided to put it out there before he disappears under all that CGI.

Brian Lumley proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Azathoth is not a malicious Mythos entity, but rather the remnants of the 'Big Bang' (the chaos at the centre of the universe.) So, while it would be quite easy to represent on film, it wouldn't be nearly as interesting as some of the more misanthropic entities in Lovcraft's catalogue. Personally, I'm holding out for the Prime Burrower, Shudde M'ell.
