I hacked the latest handheld analog from Korg to accept Control Voltage signals from the MPC 1000. This is useful for sequencing Filter sweeps etc. You can also control the cutoff via the Q-Link Slider, or use a pad to trigger filter cutoff... (Picture running a sub underneath the track with the Kickdrum pad linked to a pad that sends the filter open message...) Also: Props to http://www.dinsync.info for the original Schematics.

  • I'm a try this with my 2500

  • @hustletv It'll work, no sweat.

  • How do send CV from the MPC??????

  • @beatnickaudio Yeah. I can't find it in the manual at all. Is there official support, or is this a JJ OS thing?

This made me reconsider buying the monotron, but I just can't figure out how the hell the mpc1000 sends CV gate info.

  • @inthefade It's not in the Manual, I don't believe it's an official Feature. Just something I discovered the MPC could do while fooling around with it and a Moodgerfooger lowpass filter. Basically you send very powerful Samples through the 1/4 inch and these are recognized as CV signals by the Monotron.

  • @beatnickaudio If you want the CV program that I have for the MPC just let me know. It sends CV signals out of the 1/4 inch outs using high power samples.
