I ram is a pci board that holds up to 4Gb of ram. It uses that ram to act as harddrive. It will speed up the read/write speed for every thing in your computer

What is the boot time with another sata HD on the controller (only for data)- does it slow down the whole sys??
Tnx (looking to buy one or two of those-just for fun and benchs).

Boot times and system access times are unaffected by a second hard drive for data only. The only time you would notice a slowdown would be when you are accessing large amounts of data on that second hard drive.

Is this still limited to 4 x 1 gig sticks? Or can you do 4 x 2 gig yet?

It is indeed limited to 4x1GB sticks of RAM.
