  • @lmno456 You can watch this episode on hulu, com. search for "The Chef's Kitchen", then "Grand Marnier". Thanks for your comments.

Sugar Crème Patissiere 2 cups Milk ¾ cup sugar ½ cup Crème Patissiere Powder 3 ea. Egg Yolks What is Crème Patissiere Powder? Where I can buy it? Thank you very much.
  • @julkacanada

Crème Patisserie Powder is used in many French desserts including custards and soufflé. It may be bought online or can be made with 1/4 cup all-purpose flour sifted with 1/4 cup cornstarch.

  • @UKGarry It's an awkward edit of a 20-min (30 w/ commercials) cable show outta Phila. Recipe disappeared in the edit. Chef's Kitchen used to be called Fretz Kitchen (Fretz makes commercial kitchen appliances); host here is local Phila. caterer & personality Hope Cohen.
