Part 2 of 3: ….you have utterly failed to provide me with one single example of actual scientific evidence that proves evo ‘tentatively true’ (I say ‘tentatively true,’ because there are no absolute truths according to you)? Are you aware that so far, every single supposed ‘evidence’ for evo you have presented, has been entirely philosophical and/or metaphysical, and not scientific in nature? Sophism!

The fossil record of change in earlier species, the chemical and anatomical similarities of related life forms, the geographic distribution of related species, the recorded genetic changes in living organisms over many generations, neanderthal DNA, chromosomal fusion, and retrovirus DNA. Just to name a few.

@sparky6025 Nice play on words, however it is not the same thing. The word truther in this case is a name of a group but actually does not mean the truth, it is simple a self given title. I do however agree with you about science.

@sparky6025 "Truther" is what these people call themselves, however it dose not imply that they actually know the truth. Just claiming to know the truth is not the same as knowing the truth. Yes it actually is relevant to the conversation if you are a so called truther or not. If is interesting however that you believe because someone calls themselves a truther that is more than enough reason to believe they actually know the truth. It answers the question, thank you.

Actually it is not an absolute truth. There are other possibilities to this question existing then you asking it. I could be having a dream, I could be hallucinating, This conversation may exist only in my mind, etc. However if we examine the evidence we conclude the truth is that you asked the question. However it may be found later not to be the truth later if new evidence arises that leads to a difference conclusion. No truth is absolute.

@sparky6025 The problem is if you claim it is guided you must show it is guided. This takes you into the realm of the supernatural and at this point in time we have no way to prove the supernatural. It is a loosing argument. Intelligent design also does not prove a god exists, so it still would not effect atheism if found true.

@sparky6025 As you have pointed out intelligent design and evolution do not deal with the same things. Intelligent design deals with were life comes from and evolution deals with how life changes. The evidence clearly shows that life changes, hopefully you agree with that statement. You may not, but if you do not I see no reason to continue trying to have an intelligent conversation with you.

@sparky6025 I never said anyone made a claim, I asked you to clarify your claim. However for this discussion it does not matter if it does or does not claim this. The reason is because intelligent design defeats itself before it even gets started by claiming that things are irreversibly complex. Until this claim can be proven true, which has been fare from done, it holds no wait in the real world. Irreversible complexity is a brilliant claim but as hard to prove as a god existing.
