what can we do if this goverment has scraped the original maltese buses and has bought this no shape buses of today.

There is not much we can do, photograph as many old buses as you can. If you would like to help, my friend owns a bus he is restoring, we might get a maltese bus soon. Heritage Malta has saved 9 buses from scrap, Malta Historic Vehicle trust might try but other than that il-gvern ma jimpurtahx, bhas-soltu....... l-aqwa li paxxuti sormom lisfel.

@79221193 Well you can set up your own operations, not funded by the government. Probably requires some fundraising and fares could contribute.

And most of all to all Maltese: Shouldn't the government represent you? So if you don't want to see them go, get together, see ur MPs and start a campaign!

The old buses are a good tourist attraction and a part of maltese heritage big shame to see them go due to eu rules, perhaps a few could end up back in the u.k. certainly hope so.
