This 10 minute video doesn't do this topic justice - more will need to be made. In the meantime, do please read the following articles and analyses.
The notion that "The US is about to attack Iran" is one which has become popular on numerous occasions over the last few years - strange considering that every time this notion gets taken seriously by a significant number of people (be they pro or anti the supposedly imminent attack), nothing ends up coming of it. Numerous pundits and "Geopolitical experts" from across the political spectrum are continuously proven to be mistaken, yet continue to be taken seriously as they repeat their mistakes. Is this insanity? Or political satire?
For those who don't fall into that credibility gap, there's a suite of supposed reasons why the US *doesn't* attack Iran. These range from notions along the lines of "Bush has lost direction in the war on terror" to "The US is bogged down in Iraq and Afghanistan and thus can't start a war with Iran"; "The US is becoming like Europe - weak and unsure of itself in the face of Islam"; "The US is scared of Russia's and China's reaction" - in other words, the Establishment of the greatest Geo-political powerhouse in history with all its military, economic, information gathering, intelligence and sundry other resources are a bunch of incompetent doofoids who are consistantly incapable of dealing with supposed threats from minor league powers and who are befuddled by and frightened by minor league powers.
Is that notion Orwellian or what?
Fortunately, there is a hypothesis which dispenses with the need to engage in Newspeakish mental gymnastics or jump through absurdist hoops. This hypothesis is that the US and Iranian Establishments are covert allies.
Crazy?
Hardly, when the abundance of evidence supporting this hypothesis is absorbed and examined.
Some links to various well documented articles which expose and analyse much of this evidence.

Explains that to understand the motives of Geopolitical leaders, one needs to focus more on their *actions* rather than only on their words. Be sure to read the article cited which explains how an Australian Navy ship was warned about and possibly saved from an Iraqi speedboat packed with 500kg of explosives....by the Iranian coastguard!

Is this guy for real? Everything you say is 100% speculation and you don't know ANYTHING about the PLO. Furthermore anything that comes out of the racist nation of Australia is bias.

Until you demonstrate that you have the ability to read and understand documentation and analysis, and the ability to argue a point without utilising logical fallacies, you cannot be taken seriously.

so what's all this war of words going on between them? is it just a diversion to what is really happening?

That's exactly what it is. In a nutshell, virtually all of what is called "politics" by the mainstream (and much of the so-called "alternative") press is basically theatre to keep the public entertained (get 'em angry, sad, elated, whatever...) while the Realpolitik continues unimpeded. To get a better understanding of the Realpolitik agenda, one must focus more on the *actions* rather than merely the *words* of the Ruling Elites.

Why did Saddam allow himself to be taken out and even personally strung up on a noose?
pfpalya 4 years ago
Saddam had no choice - he was a prisoner.
That is of course assuming that it actually was Saddam - there is some evidence that he died a few years ago and that the man we saw was one of his infamous doubles, though it's not an issue I'm particularly interested in investigating. The Ba'athist fiend is dead, long live the Islamofascist fiend.
