Hi Tim,
Great point about how the more specific you are and the more muscles you engage, the better your technique and the more calories you burn.
Looking forward to more videos like this one.

From your teaching examples I can see how there are many benefits.

Hey Tim,
Its good... you are very detailed but the only thing that could use some work is that you can barely hear you! lol... If I didn't already know what you were talking about I'd be a little lost because of the lack of audio... but other than that, your teaching is as good as always! Its good to see your face again though! lol

Nice, TKD kickboxing rocks, nice move man
Yeah these moves are totally kickass - it's why Billy Blanks has made a fortune. He basically took all these moves and put them to music, simple but effective concept. Thing is, he doesn't really teach the full technique, just enough to do the exercise. What winds up happening is people who are out of shape begin using poor form to just get through the exercise and as their endurance strengthens, they end up with a ton of stamina and bad form - not very effective movements. Keep rocking Tim!

The problem with working out with bad form is that you don't engage all the muscles. So while you have some calorie burn during the workout, you have no afterburn effect from actually working the muscles properly. Plus, having more muscle mass on your body keeps your metabolism and daily calorie burn up CONSTANTLY, not just when working out. You may lose weight that way but you'll never have any definition to your body. Any reputable trainer will say never sacrifice form.
