@scottishdancer23 Wow, that was a pretty drastic thing to say. I'm sure no one would want to get sick around you or have you visiting them at a hospital, lol.

To the girl under me, my baby girl did the same thing the other day to her daddy :p I thought it was funny, but he got upset :(

Im kinda jealous, that i cant see my baby kicking cause i have a strong heartbeat so my tummy moves along with my heartbeat lol! but i feel them and when i touch my tummy the baby likes to kick at my hands. Doesnt like daddy touching my tummy for some reason, it knows when its mommy. i got my bf to touch my tummy right when it was in the middle of kicking, and then stopped and moved around to get away from the area he was touching! hahaha :P Stubborn baby<3

@scottishdancer23 please show me the evidence that eating cookie dough raises your risk of dying during childbirth? I understand the risk of getting salmonella if you eat raw things while pregnant, but that's a bit ridiculous, in my opinion.

@anangel2207 I've just turned 18 weeks also and had been feeling my baby's movement. at first it was like an involuntary muscle moving in your belly but the doctor told me that it's already my baby kicking.. Good luck!

It was store bought cookie dough, so maybe that's why the doctor never said anything.

If you get food poisoning from eating raw cookie dough you put the baby at a very high risk of dying and it raises your risk of dying during childbirth. I'm glad you were able to catch the baby kicking but take it from someone who has had multiple unsuccessful pregnancies, you don't want to lose your baby due to a stupid mistake on your part.

@scottishdancer23 I wasn't aware of the risks. I even mentioned my cravings for cookie dough to my doctor and nothing was said. Thankfully my little boy was born strong and healthy. I can assure you that I will not be eating cookie dough next time, now that I know that there are risk's from it. It will be on my "things not to do list" along with alcohol and smoking.
