I think he's being honest. Maybe it's not the right way to put it, but cut the man some slack cause he clearly doesn't speak English well.

I don't get why people insist he was only joking. I mean, apart from the clearly untrue "i'm a nazi" bits, it was mostly him being honest. he says he "understands" hitler in a way and admits an admiration for speer. that does not make him an anti-semite, even if he does consider the Israeli state to be a "pain in the ass". people need to stop considering WW2 to be such a taboo subject and hitler to be such a demon. he was a ruthless political leader, like MANY others, but nothing more really.

I think he was joking for all the rumors against him, of being nazi etc. But then he realised he was joking about some nasty shits and he got embarrassed and did not know where to continue the conversation. Next time dont joke about this things and approache the subject in another way. Derp
