good video but u should show a kid on a bus with a folding bike! u should have showed an adult who actually drives his car try it out!

@slugghable Also singapore is still a very nice and clean city to visit. They are just not into multi modal bike commuting like europe. that's all. I've been there food is cheap and good.

@slugghable and @nurhidayatkamal
You are right if more are biking but they would earn less but another point of view is that more can reach their stations by bike then instead of driving :).
also those restriction are on their very own website so i'm not making anything up:
google "smrt bicycle faq" and it's the second link where their rules for bikes are locations. And Sorry LonelyXWalk seems like non folding bikes are banned on transit because they keep saying "foldable" alot!

That's scandalous. Thanks for this information. I won't be visiting Singapore soon.

@Azreal911 true. maybe because if more people commute on bicycles they cant earn as much?
-
only stupid thing about this is that singapore bans ALL bikes (folding bikes included) during peak hour and only allows folders after rush hour times. Which means this is pretty useless for people trying to go to work, of course they will drive instead if you can't even use the folding bike on transit. Look at these rules, it's is a joke to even try to use it on transit in singapore. In Toronto, they allow folding bikes on peak hours.

what is the ratio of bikes and cars in Singapore? Excellent video, made me want to move there from car-crazy California

@ngothyeaun haha right!

really a great video, with a very interesting topic! All the best for the KWN world contest, in my eyes you'll have a good chance to win!
