Large numbers of children and young people are diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or ADHD, every year -- but how does it affect them?
Dr Jeremy Turk has been working with children and families coping with the condition since the 1980s. In this film, he explains what ADHD is and talks through the signs to look out for -- from difficulty concentrating to impulsive
and restless behaviour.
This video has been produced by Janssen to raise awareness about ADHD and shed light on the condition. It was recorded as part of a campaign to generate discussion about ADHD and provide an environment of knowledge sharing among parents, teachers, HCPs and support groups.
