its a good movie but it has too much hollywood, i guess is my best description. It's definitely interesting but columbus isn't as good of a man as they show in the movie and u can see that its bias

@DanSOConnor It's actually about what I expected. It's definitely an odd take on Columbus personally , and the movie is best at the beginning and during the initial discovery. It flies through the years during the last half way too fast and it loses itself with the speed. I would call this watchable , but definitely not something I would probably watch more than once.

Is this movie a good movie, or nothing but a sermon preaching 'evil' europe, happy non-violent natives?

@dogfan4lyfe Yet, at times we all can be such things. In making a movie, you can never properly show all facets of a character.

I enjoyed the movie and I thought it had some great acting in it. But the script they were working with wasn't so good and sometimes great actors can't make miracles from poor material.

Also, it didn't paint a very complete picture of Columbus. He was portrayed in a mostly positive light in this movie. The evidence is that he was a very selfish, cruel tyrant at times.
