Trance - First attempt - Sony Acid / FL Studio

This is my first attempt at producing a trance track (or any track) using FL Studios and Sony Acid Pro 6.0 I definately need a lot more practice, but I had fun and plan on doing more to get better. There is one hell of a learning curve for both programs, especially for me, I have no music background, but I'll get it. Anyway, thanks for checking it out.

Yeah, I am in FL. I checked out your song, You should send me the vocals of that song and let me play with it. I like the vocals. My style of music is a lot different then yours and I think it would be interesting to mix the two.

pretty cool stuff, i like the special effects and the transitions, though i'd categorize it more as psychedelic than trance per se

Thanks. As far as the category man I was way into trance in the late 90's and from what I'm seeing called trance, the times have changed a lot. Back in the day trance was more about messing with your mind than synths. I don't know what psychedelic is, maybe thats where it would be classified, but I just think of people on acid when I hear that, not the crowd I'm look for. Thanks for checking it out though

@duhrduhrduhr This is not FL Studio. They're both very well. FL Studio is bit more for people that work at a soundbooth and MIDI like. Renoise is good for sound quality and

could be a good song if the cheap early fruity loops sfx are removed, a more dynamic drum track is made , meaningful bass lines made, compression and mastering is employed. I like the whole noisy chaotic theme. Good for first try.
