This is a very difficult piece to get the voices sounding separately and the melody smooth. Most beginners would have problems holding the first bar chord.
which this performance achieves . Never mind the errors who cares and the sound recording isn't great but it is played from the heart and a many hours of practice is obvious ... well done
No, what's rude is today's endless exhibitionism. What's even ruder is when such exhibitionism is of incompetence. "World, look at my incompetence! And applaud it!" This is most offensive.
"whOrg, forgive me. It's now clear to me that you're not a classical guitarist, or at least not a serious one. I should have known this sooner. Again, please forgive."
It was not I who trotted out this fallacy. Am I wrong?
wh0rg, I thought you might drag out this common fallacy. The truth is that the quality of my playing has no bearing on the quality of anyone else's. Nevertheless I assure you that it's better than this. But disbelieve me if you like. No matter. Back to the issue at hand: This video stinks.
There's that witty sarcasm again. No, I am not, though I doubt very highly that the sole credentials for being a classical guitarist are "overcritical sociopath." Speaking of criticism, where are your own efforts in classical guitar? You have a lot of other people's guitar videos saved, but none of your own. From your attitude, I think it safe to assume that you at least tinker with the guitar. How can Greg learn from you if you display no examples of your mastery?
whOrg, forgive me. It's now clear to me that you're not a classical guitarist, or at least not a serious one. I should have known this sooner. Again, please forgive.
Let's be honest: Modern English has endured for 450 years without your help. The memories of Plato, Augustine and Bach likewise seem to be persevering quite nicely without Jitprigian histrionics. Your words were in defense of nothing; they were crafted with the intent to harm and nothing more. It's pretty evident. While it is true that he has not achieved "mastery," he is still a good guitarist and that this is quite a nice song. You could at least pretend at being constructive.
If you like. Yet none of this has any bearing on the quality of Gregory's playing, which is far from great. I beg you to refuse to ever again participate in the cheapening of such words as "great," "awesome," "genius," etc. Such words apply only to the likes of Plato, Augustine, and Bach.
