This course is aimed at Business Travelers who need just a quick lesson on language, words, phrases, and customs while they are traveling in China and Taiwan. The prototypical student may not ever want to learn Chinese, but they need a quick lesson (or 22) in getting around. The course also emphasizes historical backgrounds of customs, courtesies, and useful ice-breakers for conversation. This is not a Beginner's Chinese course, but there is an introduction into tones and grammar of the Chinese language.
