Yes I did it in Oct. 2009. I did it with Adventure Kokoda led by Chad Sherrin - who gave a great historical experience - not just a walk. You need to be fit to enjoy it - or suffer. One of our number died - Phil Brunskill of Sydney. 3 others were airlifted out.  I did not carry my own pack - as i wanted to enjoy it. Good luck.

@banjogm have you ever done it? im not trying to be a smart ass or anything but i was just wondering because im only 14 and i really want to do it but my parents wont pay for me so it will be a couple more years until i do it ps i plan on carrying my own pack if you have done it do you recommend it

@Mo0nBugGy1 You have to consider that Men/soldiers back then were more adjusted to life like that because back then they didnt have things like, Computers, and they couldnt just go out and grab what they want, so for these guys it would be hard to adjust
