I was in Fallujah and in 1/505 the battallion that this film was based upon. These two journalists are jokers. They are snakes and pathetic. They were far left wing pacifists and against the cause. They pretended to be buddys and then took limited footage from a few of the 700 soldiers who disagreed with what we were doing and skewed it into this video. We should have dropped them off in DT Fallujah and left them.

If you are a lifetime soldier then that is cool. It is not cool to make soldiers feel like they can't get out on a first enlistment. The Army is trying to shame them into it for retention purposes. I did 3 years in the 101st, got out, made good money and got a degree part time. This jackass running his mouth in the video is more than likely some pussy on profile trying to hold on to the only thing he has. The fact is HE can't get a job outside the Army because he is weak.

ive been out for 7 months now because of injuries sustained in combat ops .. nothing to serious ..just cant run or jump anymore.. everything is still intact ... i honestly wish i was still in and the only thing i blame the army on is not fixing my knees when they got messed up to start with instead of sending me to 15 months in the dirt first ... id still be doing my job over there on another tour ... im 33 years old ..army was the best job i have ever had and will ever have

Most of these guys wont last a year out in civialian life without realizing that maybe the Army wasnt so bad. I wish I had the same maturity and mentality then I have now. Iwas 21 immature now im 28 more confident in what I want.

Its true, after discharging from the Army, I found myself stuck, even going to college and with a plan.Life as a civilian is just as hard. Jobs are limited especially with this economy and you get treated the same if not worse by your employer. Now Iam desperately to get in. But with an RE-4, my county commisoner is helping by talking to state congressmn.

They dont want to let them go that easy 1. They paid x amount of money to train.2 Already trained and combat trained3. They dont want to be stuck with some cherry in the battlefield. Its good that they want to get out, you dont want these guys out in battle nxt to you.
