  • Well it's been ten months since I had a go at singing Big Eyed Beans from Venus and it seems to have earned mixed results. I guess I'll have another go at it sometime. Maybe I'll learn the words and get a singer, but then I'd know the words and somebody else would be singing who doesn't necessarily know them at all so I can see a problem with this particular piece of advice! Anyway, it's all in the past. This is just a snapshot in time, an imprint echo from a podcast recording session.

  • I'd like to apologize to all those reading here. I fed the rudeboi troll. Sorry. I usually know better, but sometimes optimism gets the best of me.

  • Good job mate, made me wonder what Bob Dylan would do with the song :-\

Probably not so well as you did.

  • I love to hear different versions of any Beefheart songs and this is a great one - I recently uploaded the latest Magic Band version recorded live if you're interested.

  • Well done! Great cover of this piece. The chinese lute is perfect in conjunction with your voice.

  • Well done! I have to ask what is the instrument you are playing? It is perfect for this piece.

  • GREAT COVER. btw, am i the only one who thinks his last 3 albums were his best (though i LOVE decals)? you just can't beat doc at the radar station (sheriff of hong kong!) and ice cream for crow. just great albums, underrated in his cannon. anyway... I dig the hell out of this video/cover, thanks!

  • Spar and slightly sinister edge to the guitar. Good in a drastically different way to Zoot.

  • nice cover andy very out there

  • @napagusagain Duchamp used the Mona Lisa to turn people off to Duchamp. He's making a statement with bad taste. This is just a bad performance. Poor interpretation with lackluster attitude.

  • @horowizard Like Duchamp turned people off of the Mona Lisa?
