i have cinema4d r11 , i clicked on the structure and then extrude it's all good but when i tried to the next step which is click on the edge of the horizontal plane, it didn't work. it didn't have that highlighted horizontal orange on the plane. i tried ignoring and just go straight to the next step, modifying the offset but i couldn't seem to change the angle. any idea why?

@RiTutorials I think this version has them but you can't click select the tool. In the menu the text it grey and if I try to use the D it selects it but all the boxes are in grey and texts also. And the version is 11.5
