  • @vodude WRONG! the 80s were far beyond superior because people had REAL talent and were REAL artists. Todays bs generation is manufactured and couldnt play an instrument if their lives depended on it! They also dont write a single song much less have the ability to craft a song or two. Its all hype,bs, and lots of men in suits pushing all the buttons. Indeed a USELESS GENERATION that will destroy the few that do have a talent of some kind.

  • this band doesn't let me do my homework well i guess its time for juke box hero

  • @guinness13 I don't like Beiber's music, but I hate people promoting ignorance. Beiber was just a kid from Ontario who sang songs and filmed them and put em on youtube. He slowly built a fanbase, and he interacted with every fan on his youtube channel. He BUILT his own fanbase from his computer and eventually, people in the industry realized he was popular and started approaching him. And money drove the industry back in the 80s as well, and there were LOADS of bands that sucked

  • @mrfrogbutt1 Acts like Justin Beiber DID compete with Foreigner. Or are you forgetting Abba and Boney M and Lipps Inc and the Bee Gees? You know why Justin Beiber got popular? He has more in common with Foreigner than Backstreet Boys. He built his fanbase the OLD FASHIONED way, but with new technology. He made videos and put em on youtube. He wasn't made by industry he built his fanbase one viewer at a time, until he was so popular industry took notice.

  • @mrfrogbutt1 You are so wrong it hurts me. And I say this as a child of the 80s. Or do you forget Milli Vannili, Vanilla Ice, NKOTB, Menudo and all the other pre-fab crap bands that couldn't play an instrument back then? Lip syncing at acts was invented in the 80s. There are LOTS of artists of this generation of musicians that write/play their own instruments. Get your head out of your hot pink nylon spanex-covered ass and stop looking only at music the industry shoves at you.

  • @UselessLOBO The reason why music died is a very simple one, MONEY! The love of making $ overcame the love and desire to create a song from scratch. The suits took over and pushed aside the artist and made that guy obsolete from the equation! Justin Bieber and his lot is the biproduct of that greed and WE made it acceptable, just look at all the idiots whom make stars out of American Idol?! Can you imagine acts like Bieber trying to compete with Foreigner in the 70's!

  • @UselessLOBO Let me introduce you to The National, The Gaslight Anthem, Modest Mouse, Arctic Monkeys, Laura Marling, Blind Pilot, Spoon, Anna Calvi, Kopek, Coldplay, and James Vincent McMorrow, to name a few.

For more good artists from today, visit Top20ModernRock (.) dot com. And no, I don't get paid for this and I'm not spamming. I'm just saying.

  • @mrfrogbutt1 Very well said, thank you :)

  • TUMBS UP IF YOU WANT TO GO BACK TO THE 80'S !!!

  • LOVE THE SAX MAN

  • rGreat!!! sound on radio the other day and just love it

  • Hey guys I'm from the generation that ruined music and I totally agree with that. Preseny day most bands don't write their own music, they just play it. In the past there was real music. Now we have computers and they make Justin Bieber sound good. Please God send us some real bands that play real music.
