@Gerry319videos Largo is an indication of Elgar, so that, in my opinion, you can enjoy greater harmony of the piece; however, there is alwais the possibility to execute it a little faster .... Sorry, we are not beautiful in Spain, but we hope that there is the opportunity to meet us......

@francomellea How fast should this song go? Elgar marked the score Largo, which is the tempo you've taken. To me, this piece seems to want to move along a little faster, say adagietto. I'll be conducting it with a choir next week so I'll be able to try out my theory. I enjoyed listening to your choir's rendition. Are you in Spain?

Sono stata presente al concerto di Natale del 2009 e devo dire che mi è piaciuto molto per l' alto livello dei brani eseguiti.

Lovely to hear this performed in a beautufl setting. Pleasant voices and not too many in the choir. But organ is too prominent and rather an insympathetic stop. And why, why, oh why so slow? Andante per piacere!
