Every version out there is great. Which one is better is not something that can be decided by one person. We each have our own favorites, for our own reasons (whether its the whistle, or power, dynamics or look). We should just enjoy every version that exists our there and recognize that each singer is fantastic in their own way and each one contributes something unique to their rendition of the piece. I like Michael Ball alot but him singing this song....not so much. For me Steve Balsamo is unsurpassed! Everyone else just sounds like a karaoke singer but we all have our favorites!
