  • @MilkyLicker3587 Since I posted, I did find out this amp is indeed a Supro Spectator.

    I'm not selling it. I was just curious to know the exact model. Thanks anyway.

  • @red95tsi - Sounds like a Spectator model. Is the control panel white? Are you trying to sell it?

  • Wow!!! Excellent, your les paul has that great nasally Page tone. Plenty of quack, I guess the pickups have a lot to do with that. Killer tone!!!!!

  • I've got a question for you. I have a 1961 Supro amp. It was my grandfathers he bought new back in 1964. It has 1x12ax7 1x6v6gt and 1x5y3gt. It has a 8" Jensen speaker. The top controls say [instrument] [instrument] [microphone] these are the inputs, and the knobs are [volume] [tone]. I've been having trouble finding out what model it is. I have the original model # its 510-43-44 and the serial # is T-50667. My question is, is this amp a 1606 like yours? Any help is much appreciated.

  • were you using any pedals with this?
