Did Amy Winehouse die because she was trying to stay sober?

Hey Everyone, this is Nora Gasparian for Hollyscoop.

Everyone assumes that Amy Winehouse died from a drug overdose, but that might not be the case.

There is a new theory surrounding Amy's death . She may have died because she stopped drinking alcohol. Her decision to quit booze completely after years of heavy drinking could have caused her body to go into a state of shock or seizure, which killed her at her home in Camden.

A source said: "Abstinence gave her body such a fright they thought it was eventually the cause of her death."

Amy visited the doctor at 8pm before she passed away and he said everything was ok with her. Whatever happened between  8pm and 4pm the next day remains a mystery.

Toxicology reports should shed some light on the case, but those won't be in for another few weeks. What's your theory on what

Quiting Alcoholism is similar to shitting your pants when you are really young. It takes a good friend to look out for you until you are able to get out of wherever you are alive/undected. This girl had everying but good friends, im sure.

"weed" can be the gateway drug for relapse for the "real" alcoholic, my hats off to those that enjoy it, as recreational way to relax. it's those that cannot stop, that it is a danger, it's just the fact, people who choose to argue about it, are the very same people who have a problem, i know what my defects are, i dont make the rules, i break them, like everybody else, then i follow the truth.

@turner593 i know that. but i dont believe that is why she died, she might have overdosed one a bunch of different things, i dont know i didnt do the toxology, i just know from experience what happens.
