This is Browny the night before his tumor, AKA his lump, was removed. His lump was in very bad shape the last few days before the vet cut it off. It bled a lot and had a gaping hole in it.
@jbarclay65 The lump was not a cancerous tumor. According to the vet it was a "benign cyst," so there was no danger to Browny if it remained on his leg. The vet also told us that if we had it removed there was a good chance that Browny would not survive the surgery because he was so old and old dogs do not do well under anesthesia.
Since we did not want him to die we did not remove the lump. Eventually it broke open and became infected so it had to be removed. It was and he survived.
why'd you wait so long DICKHEAD?
