Stanford's open-source digital photography software platform, "Frankencamera," which allows users to create novel camera capabilities, is now available as a free download for Nokia N900 "mobile computers."

I'm not extremely impressed by the examples given... This is all quite fundamental and known as long as cameras have existed (save for the software ‘bluriness evaluation’ feature, of course).

I really wish my camera supported reprograming... The auto-exposure sucks and there's no manual mode.
