Katy and Kent reach the Atlantic Ocean

A brief collection of video clips of Katy and Kent's trip from Texas to Florida, outlined in their blog at

I managed to join them on a small portion of their trip, from Flagler Beach to Daytona Beach Shores. These clips show Katy closing on the camera ship, followed by Kent taking a brief pause to let us catch up, then zipping past me again. Katy passes me, and I drop in behind for some tailwind assisted drafting. The last clip is shot at Highbridge Road, turning off the beach road (A1A) for quieter lanes.

The video isn't particularly clear, as the day was very chilly and overcast, causing most objects to be underexposed. The forward facing camera also collected its share of moisture and salt from the ocean air.
