@richon2001 Thanks! I had heard that fixing buffers and resistor values and things does the trick for a lot less than an inductor change. I'll probably do what you did and the standard "Vocal" mods and bass, mid, and treble resistor changes and see where that leaves me! Thanks again!

exactly, this is what the mod was looking for

the one on the left is a bit smoother and a touch more on the bass side. yes/no???

It has the RED FASEL in it, beside son mods to reduce the gain in the transistors, no input buffer, more gain and more vocal mods...
is all in the INTERNET.

Do you know if the Gilmour seagull effect works if the buffer is removed?

@Nimrod9458 as far as I know, you need the buffer removed to wire it backwards for the seagull effect to work

how do you remove the buffer? do you know any good mod sites?
cheers from Australia.

@standoverman In any page on GOOGLE for "wah mods" it shows how to remove the buffer.... look for them (as they are easy to find)

Great demo, thanks a lot. The red fasel sounds a little funkier, i think. Im thinking about getting a crybaby to mod, in your opinion which makes more of a difference, just the circuit board mods or just changing the inductor?

First: take out the input Buffer, then change the Transistors (for some with less gain: BC109B for example)... at last the inductor (some like it even before the FASEL change... it's not a must)
