@Sophos Lab
:) Creating Trojans isn't exactly illegal ( Well in America at least) and yes mac Malware has been on the rise many people don't realize is that hackers and spreaders try to target a large amount of people that is why you see so many windows viruses but less Mac and * nix viruses but the Mac is getting more and more popular .. as is Mac malware :D
And one day i hope to work for Sophos

Active X components don't run on macs, so why would you select to download it??? Even if you did you would have to select to then run it and provide it with your admin password. Not like windows where you accept the file and you are then screwed.

serious are a real security dude? Because you can't even make a difference between "social engineering" and malware.
social engineering is used to get an information, malware use a security weakness of the OS or internet browser to install a software or script.

You can't help laughing when Mac users proclaim that Macs are virus free and crash free. If, for some unfortunate reason you have to run a Mac (you're being paid to, held hostage, etc.), at least future-proof it with a firewall and anti-virus. If Macs ever become as popular as you say they will, they will be targeted in the future too. Who knows what undiscovered flaws lie underneath?
