  • hey how big dose the anole get's

  • @apocalypsebr1 They probably range from 11-17 inches, females are much smaller than males. They need at least a 50 gallon enclosure because they are larger than the green/brown anoles.

  • @Rubixite THX I JUST GOT ONE AND IM TRYING TO FIND OUT SOME INFO ON THEM AND HOW BIG THEY GET AND I HAVE MINE IN A 20 HIGH

  • @apocalypsebr1 @apocalypsebr1 No problem! :) 20 gal is fine for a couple months maybe, they grow really fast. It seems to me like their whole personality changes when they are in a large enclosure. They are much more happy and relaxed. In a small enclosure, they are constantly in "stress mode". I made a short write-up, go to the address in the info area right under the video, it gives some care suggestions. And feel free to pm me with questions, these are one of my favorite reptiles.

  • Hey @Rubixite I am having an emergency with my anole! His yes have swollen and he has become more lethargic than I have ever seen him. What do I do

  • @hughjass812 Sent you a PM

  • How in the world did you get it so calm??..

mine only grew from about 7-8 inches before it died.. :c

  • Thumbs up for a tame knight anole

  • @hughjass812 They are much more calm and will tolerate handling a lot more easily when you get them young. It sounds like you got him when he was very young if he's still that small. Most people only have the opportunity to buy wild caught adults which is unfortunate. Let him run around! Although you might want to keep it in a closed room so it doesn't go too far. They'll usually just find the tallest thing in the room and head upwards.

  • @Rubixite not that you don't seem to know what your talking about but my knight anole is different than most. I had him for 7 or 8 months now and he's about 8-9 inches, and he is ok when I handle him though I'm not sure I'd let him run about my home yet! What are your thoughts?
