How to Straighten Super Curly Hair Step by Step

That's why I never straighten my hair ! It takes just toooo much time ! Mine are so curly that even the hairdresser has issues with straighten them !

I like to use a root lifter when I am planning on straightening my hair. My hair is ridiculously curly and thick. On days that I want to straighten my hair, I use a volumizing shampoo mixed with a conditioning shampoo because sadly most curly haired people don't need help with volume and the shampoo is a stripper and not a conditioning cleanser. Then I use John Frieda's root lifter leave-in creme. I also let my hair air dry on the opposite side for more volume and then use a glass for frizz.

@customanimalart I live in FL too.. It sucks.. when It take 3 hours to hot iron my hair.. in 3mins. of P.E all of that work is wasted.. WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO HOT?!.. and it's winter..

thanks for the straightening iron trick! I will certainly try that one! My hair is the same thickness and takes F=O=R=E=V=E=R to dry and if I get even just a little hot from the hair dryer heat, then my scalp begins to sweat...(ruining the straightness at the roots) That pisses me off.I swear I need the house at 60* to blow dry...ugh,so annoying.Living in FL does NOT help this situation. I can get it perfectly srtaight then take a step outside in summer---you should know what I mean by that LOL
