Also discussed was the case of Jonathan Magbie, a medical marijuana patient who died in the DC jail due to lack of medical treatment while serving a sentence for marijuana possession. 06/29/2009

He should have never been in jail for simple possession. Most Washington DC judges would dismiss the case. Makes me wonder who the judge was. Probably a Bush appointee.

the dea doesnt want it legal because the system makes more for black market items. if it was legal the world drug economic plan george senior put into effect would be worse than the housing crisis ever was. to many people who live middle class wouldnt live middle class anymore its away out of poverty for some people. thats why its kinda like the stock market you take a chance at buying and selling your stock ha ha ha.

Jails get paid for every day each person is left in their. They don't care if you are innocent or guilty when they arrest you. That for the judge to decide. All they know is every person they bring in is another chunk of change for the system. It's pathetic.
