Did you know that both Africanus and Hannibal died in same year? Around 183 BC.

Africanus being like 10 years younger then Hannibal died first (he had febers acquired in Iberian campaign) they both were in exile.

Sorry saigonj I was commenting the RL not the movie. Just think about how they sieged and destroyed completely the largest city in Iberia at that time, Sagentum it never ever recovered itself. So its silly they make Hannibal talk that way in the movie, he already did that many times plus dont forget he swore to destroy Rome, so if he had a siege equipment - no Roman empire to talk about for us.

There is a possibilty that Africanus and Hannibal met again, later in Seleucia.

But he had no siege equipment and the city had huge walls and 2 urbanae legions.

Hannibal couldn't make a head assult nor he had enough man to completely cut it off.

Very difficult to know how that would end.
