this guy was a key player in the guitar raga thing in the 60s along with Davy Graham, Robbie Basho etc.
not sure what he's doing trying to play flamenco but his raga playing is fantastic. some of the best guitar music ever.

I think it´s beautiful. Though I prefer his indian/raga songs.

I have a real problem with this guy's playing yes he has mastered some flamenco moves but I really DO NOT get a feeling of soul from him it's like all technical immitation almost all the phrases seem dis-jointed
lacking conviction all the flameco moves are there but not really the soul
does he feel guilt at being white,, why is he famous I think it is because 40 years ago he made friends with people in the hippie community , same ol stoy , it's who you know
