  • Very helpful series. I finally feel confident enough to upgrade my TM MEU to a metal body. I'll definitely be referring to these videos often during the process. I really liked the trouble-shooting section at the end. Very informative!

  • glad you like it bro. I quit airsofting long ago. Money sink hehe. But it's cool when I watch the video again and remember all those sweat and tears that went into modding this.

  • oh, wait, and also, where can I get that CP four-leaf spring? I cant find it at the moment...by the way this is a really nice tutorial, like an hour or so, but better than just some quick video that doesn't explain anything

  • glad you like it I got mine at dentrinityshop

    google "dentrinityshop"

  • i've not seen that little slide lock spring for sale anywhere. But you can try dentrinityshop. If not, you need to fine a good spring shop at your place and bring the gun to fit, should be between 20 - 30mm length and around 1 to less than 1mm diameter.

  • well, actually, my gun is a kjw 1911, if I could go back, I would make a different choice, but anyways, I also kinda lost the spring inbetween the two pins near the safety. Which spring set should I buy to get another one of those? and should I just get the CP, would that probably fix my problem? is there a certain way to fit it in or anything?

  • thanks man, if you see the date of my vid, I no longer airsoft. Too many frigging hobbies here in hong kong. So I don't mind the jackasses here. Hey I love them, at least they finished watching this lol.. It's hard, I don't even watch it myself.

Hope this help people though, good times good times :D

  • hey bro it's not a forty spring, it's a "four leaf" spring. It's the spring behind the grip safety that pushes on the sear and disconnector. If you take down your WA, you will see that spring with only 3 leaf, CP makes a 4 leaf one that pushes the disconnector specifically for sticky frames, that fixes the auto gun problem.

  • in that last part of your video, about what you did to fix that problem, you said you got a forty spring, if I heard right. If I think I know what your talking about, Should I get a 150% recoil and hammer spring? Is that what you meant? Because I am having that exact same problem.

  • excellent video, i dont even have one of these yet (plan to tho xD) but i found it very helpful and fascinating!!

and dont listen to those idiots having a go at your language, they need to get a life

    thanks for making this xDD
