In under 2 minutes I review the Tasmanian Tiger Chest Rig, one of the german designed setups that definitely overshadows some of the other brands I've used.

I still own a tactical tailor rig, but it stays in the closet. The price, quality, and thought behind the Tasmanian Tiger unit is enough to make me go back to them with more money for more kit.

I say it in the video, but as the only rig which lets me wear a pack, the TT setup is the most comfortable of any chest rig I've tried.

Awesome! What about side plates ? I saw one review that had a pocket for them but I wanted to confirm

If your serious about wearing ballistic plates: I would recommend a plate carrier. There are padded slots on the TT chest rig that you could fit plates into, but they're not designed for it. Also: side plates are pretty rare.

100% they do. USGI with magpuls, or pmags with range plates: I have no problems fitting two of them in each panel. If you look @1:30 in my Tavor video you can see: youtube. com/watch?v=I-29Gz5zR18

I like the Tasmanian Tiger patrol pack with the rifle rest build into it. But I also use an Eberlestock Gunslinger 2 on a regular basis!

Sweet video. How do you like the Tavor? Did you get your vest from Seals Action Gear in Calgary?

If you watch my channel I have a full review of the Tavor. Great rifle. I actually buy my Tasmanian Tiger gear at Crown Surplus. They've been in Calgary since 1950 at least, and my father used to shop there.
