Whenever I do it I get stuck on the apple sign when it tries to reboot, wtf do i do???

One of my friends did it and it bricked or stuffed up, but then he restored it and tried again,it worked, and now he uses it way more- i guess coz all the free apps and stuff. If i had one i'd do it- you can't really stuff it up 100%, can you?

I jailbreak my 3g iphone on firmware 2.2 there aren't many apps but im gonna keep it jailbroken for when they come out with some nice ones it shouldn't be to long for them to come out with some
