    It's hard to imagine that someone who started singing in the early 60's of songs of Broadway, Standards and with such artists as Judy Garland, Louis Armstrong, etc. had a modern hit in the 80's and is STILL recording to this date. Streisand is the true example of a living legend.

    Anyone that says the Jim Steinman version is better than this, should have their ears syringed. Barbara has an amazing depth of clarity & purity of emotion in her voice & knows how to deliver!
