I hate Miike's ridiculously over-the-top, even psychotic movies but his more sane movies are really interesting...He is a great director...this one was not bad at all. Very slow moving, and still kinda weird but it's a good movie.

I'm a big Miike fan. I own Gozu, the Dead or Alive trilogy, Ichi the Killer, Audition, Visitor Q, Sukiyaki Western, Izo, and this, the Bird People in China. I think Bird People and Izo are probably his best films, both powerful and thought provoking.

This film looks good. Im a fan of foreign cinema and love Takashi Miike films. I'm going to have to pick this one up. Is there a region 1 dvd release? Or do i have to settle for a ebay bootleg?

Wow, tyhat trailer leaves alot to the imagination.
Good. :) Better than the ones in Europe and America, you practically watch the film from the trailer. Right.. away to see this.
